About Bishop

David M. Copeland

The BISHOP DAVID M. COPELAND is a native of Buffalo, New York and currently serves as Senior Pastor of New Creation Christian Fellowship of San Antonio, Texas.  His early training was in the Baptist Church.  At the age of 18, he was saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit and began a new phase of growth in the Lord in the Church of God in Christ.   He was called to the ministry and licensed as a minister in 1969 and ordained in 1974.

Inspired with vision for Kingdom ministry, Bishop Copeland continues to avail himself to the move of God, sharing vision and inspiration with churches and ministries in the Kingdom of God.

He and his wife, The Reverend Dr. Claudette A. Copeland, will have been married for 41 years.  They were high school sweethearts.  Together, they founded New Creation after serving seven years in the United States Air Force Chaplaincy.  The Copeland’s were the first active duty African American couple in the United States Air Force Chaplaincy.

After more than 47 years in ministry, Bishop Copeland believes that God’s church should be a caring community equipping the saints to “take the Kingdom of God” by force!

We are grateful for each of you that support the organization with a ministerial TOT.

The TOT is a minimum of 1% of 10% of your monthly income.

If your church/ministry receives $500.00 a week in Tithes and Offerings, 10% of that would be $50.00. So you would sow into the Council, $5.00! It’s that easy. The TOT is used in meeting the day to day operations of the Council, which includes admin salaries, regional conferences, rent, supplies, and Tithe-out opportunities.
